Spark

Terms of Service

Last updated 23 June 2026 · Version 1.0

These terms are an agreement between you and LP LABS LTD (company number 17293785, registered in England & Wales), trading as "Spark" ("we", "us"). They govern your use of the Spark app and tools. By creating an account or using Spark, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Spark is

Spark helps new UK businesses get set up — a guided setup, a simple website, invoicing, a job diary, and hand-offs to trusted providers for things like banking and accounting. Spark is in an early-access phase: we're building it alongside our customers, some features are marked "coming soon", and things may change as we improve them.

2. Eligibility and your account

3. Acceptable use

Use Spark lawfully and as intended. You must not use it to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, publish unlawful or harmful content, attempt to disrupt or attack the service, or misuse the AI features. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or the law.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Spark — your business details, website content, invoices and so on. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content only as needed to provide the service to you (for example, to publish your website or generate a document you asked for). You're responsible for your content and for having the right to use any details you enter about other people, such as your own customers.

5. Websites you publish

If you publish a website with Spark, you're responsible for what's on it and for making sure it's lawful and accurate. We may review published sites and can unpublish or remove anything that breaks these terms or the law, or in response to a valid complaint.

6. Referrals and partners

Spark hands you over to third-party providers (for example a bank or accounting software) on their own websites. Those partners are independent of us, with their own terms and privacy policies — we're not responsible for their services. We may earn a referral fee, paid by the partner, at no cost to you. See our Affiliate & Referral Disclosure for details.

7. Information is general, not professional advice

Spark gives general information and tools — including AI-generated drafts and guidance on things like tax, VAT, CIS or employing staff. This is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and AI output can be wrong. Always check anything important and, where it matters, speak to a qualified professional (we can refer you to one). You're responsible for decisions you make using Spark.

8. Fees

During our early-access phase, Spark's tools are free to use — we earn referral fees from partners, paid by them, never from your wallet, and we don't ask for card details to get started. If we introduce paid plans in future, we'll make the price clear and you'll choose whether to upgrade before paying anything.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Spark running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during early access. We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause or end features that aren't working as intended. We'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and your statutory rights are unaffected. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or losses arising from your use of third-party partners or from relying on general information or AI output. Spark is provided "as is" during early access.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Spark and delete your account at any time from Account & privacy in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or where we reasonably need to. On termination, the parts of these terms that should survive (such as content licences already granted, liability and governing law) continue to apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Spark develops. We'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Spark after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales. If you're a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
